You’ve taken the first step by scheduling a phone consultation.
The 15-minute consultation is an opportunity for you to briefly share what issues you would like to cover in therapy, and to ask me any questions you have about how I work. If I do not think I am the right person for you, I can offer some referrals to mental health providers who have a different specialty or might be a better fit.
When we set up our first session, I will ask for your email address and send you a link to a secure portal where you can review (and electronically sign) documents about confidentiality and my practice policies. You can also complete an intake online so that I can get to know a bit about you before we meet in person.
